Katie and Dean got married at Middleton Lodge, which is a Georgian country house in North Yorkshire with stunning grounds. It was the most beautiful wedding and the sun shone all day long!

THE CEREMONY

The ceremony was a beautiful service under the floral arbour on the front lawn. During the ceremony K&D had several beautiful readings from friends and family. It was so personal & touching.

The arbour is covered with natural foliage, which I loved, a lot of couples instal their own floral arches for the ceremony, but this one is ready made & so beautiful. The reception was held in the marquee in the stunning grounds, I love this venue because it has so many great opportunities for portraits. Weddings at Middleton Lodge are amazing, because the surroundings are completely stunning.

The venue is really peaceful and secluded, and is one of the loveliest places to get married in North Yorkshire. The venue offers onsite bedrooms so guests don’t have to leave early, which also means morning preparations can begin here, and there are so many beautiful spots that are perfect for photos, inside and outside.

THE RECEPTION

The couple had drinks and canapés in the afternoon which were served on the lawn in front of the main house, and then we moved inside for the speeches & live music in the evening. For dinner they had a roast dinner, and the first dance was a romantic slow dance.

THE COUPLE

Dean wore a dapper tuxedo and Katie wore a classic white dress and they looked really incredible. Katie’s beautiful bouquet was absolutely incredible and designed by The Flower Room Yarm.
